Week 2, Weekend project - Alternative Image Making

Okay,this one was difficult.

We had to choose a recognisable household object (teapot, spade, fork etc.) and 'draw' it without using traditional materials. They said draw but that was just as decieving as the idea of 'drawing week' that ill get to later. Apparently drawing can mean photography, projection, casts/sculpture...

 As you can see I chose a honey dipper.

 The shape is a bit thin so the wax version broke into 5 pieces when I was trying to get it out of the cast.

Painted with the honey dipper itself and I made a honeycomb pattern using masking tape underneath.
