Basically we spent a day or so wandering around mmu finding and photographing different buildings and then had to come up with a creative, but not necessarily coherent or functional map. We then had 1 day to make it in the studio space. I made what I intended to be a Birdcage but it ended up looking a bit more like a hat...
The idea was to make the buildings on the outside fade by printing on tracing and graph paper, and the inside of my map/hat was the colourful contents of the different areas of the art school. But I suppose you can make up your own mind over whether or not it could function as a headdress.
